NP Komplete Technologies B.V. is a limited liability, privately held company, established July 27th, 2009. NP Komplete Technologies specializes in software development for hard optimization problems in the field of Electronic Design Automation. The first, and currently still the major task is to maintain and develop software for Takumi Technology KK where R&D was outsourced after downscaling the activities. NPKT and Takumi work closely together and NPKT has full access to all IP of Takumi and has license agreements to sell and enhance Takumi software. Outside Japan, NPKT acts as an EDA vendor for the Takumi products and independently supports its own customers there.
NPKT is about ten persons strong, and Maarten Berkens is founder and CEO. Maarten has over 25 years experience in EDA, and also has hands on design experience for non volatile memories. Other senior staff include Ivo van Zandvoort, Scott Howlett and Simon Klaver. All bringing 15+ years of backend EDA development or support experience. We are located in the Netherlands and in the USA.
NPKT will provide solutions for any problems related to physical IC layout. Solutions can range from consulting, automating layout modification based on Takumi products, custom software development to analyze, check or modify layout, or doing layout related jobs as a service. We have experience in migrating and optimizing layouts up to the advanced 28nm technology node.
